Oil Cooler Bypass #1

Hack Nation's oil thermostat bypass #1 for the Cummins ISX and X15: every drop of oil through the cooler.

Replaces the stock oil thermostat in your Cummins and routes 100% of the oil through the oil cooler, all the time, to help regulate oil temperature on long, heavy pulls.

What makes it better

• 100% of the oil through the cooler. The stock ISX oil thermostat holds oil out of the cooler until about 235°F. This bypass sends it all through the cooler from the start.

#1 or #2?

On the passenger side, measure from the start of the oil cooler, from the head of the Allen plug to the first bevel: #1 is 3-1/4 in, #2 is 4 in. 2017-and-newer ISX / X15 takes #1, 2010-and-older ISX takes #2, and 2010–2017 ISX can take either.
