The Cat Stage 1 from Hack Nation's Longevity Package line: a quick-spool, direct replacement for the stock Cat turbo, and the same turbo Hack Nation runs on its own 640 HP Cat builds.

What makes it better

• Ceramic-coated hot (turbine) housing. Holds heat in the housing like a turbo blanket for quicker spool, applied over a dedicated primer so it stays put. The same coating stayed on 100% through Hack Nation's 7,300-mile loaded R&D test.
• Powder-coated cold (compressor) housing. A durable, corrosion-resistant finish.
• "Anti-Surge" billet compressor wheel. Machined from solid billet, with a more robust fin design that spools up quicker.
• 360° thrust bearing. Full-circle thrust support for durability under load.
• Direct replacement, no wastegate needed. Replaces the stock wastegated, cast-wheel Cat turbo outright.

Why it matters

• Built for quicker throttle response, better fuel economy, cooler exhaust temperatures and longer component life. Production units built to Hack Nation's spec in the United States.
• Stage 1 or Stage 2? Hack Nation's Stage 2 (1.45 A/R) needs added fuel or a tune to pay off. For throttle response and Jake brake holdback, Stage 1 is the right pick for most trucks.
