What makes it better

• Hell and Back coated rod and main bearings and thrust washers. The coating holds a film of oil on the bearing surface, protecting the bottom end on dry and cold starts and helping it survive oil starvation or fuel dilution.
• Coating about 1 mil thick. Factory bearing clearances are unchanged, so the kit assembles like OEM.
• Ceramic-coated piston crowns. The coating reflects combustion heat back into the power stroke instead of into the piston, for better efficiency.
• Superfinished, mirror-finish wrist pins. About Ra 1.5–2.0 against roughly 6–8 on a factory pin, for less friction and wear.
• New piston cooling nozzles and oil thermostat included. No separate orders for parts that usually stall an in-frame.
• Bearings for both fractured-cap and machined (saw-cut) rods. One kit covers either rod type.
