Hell and Back Elite In-Frame Kit — CAT MXS/NXS/BXS

$10,134.02 $11,260.02

A complete Hell and Back Elite Series in-frame kit for Cat MXS, NXS and BXS engines.

Hack Nation's coated Elite Series kit for the Cat C15 ACERT family: a full in-frame rebuild, with the upgrades already built in.

What makes it better

Hell and Back coated rod and main bearings. Hack Nation's bearing coating holds a film of oil on the bearing surface, protecting the bottom end on dry and cold starts and helping it survive oil starvation or fuel dilution.
Coating about 1 mil thick. Factory bearing clearances are unchanged, so the kit assembles like OEM.
Ceramic-coated piston crowns. The coating reflects combustion heat back into the power stroke instead of into the piston, for better efficiency.
Superfinished, mirror-finish wrist pins. About Ra 1.5–2.0 against roughly 6–8 on a factory pin, for less friction and wear.
Aviation gasket paste included. Packed with every Hack Nation Cat kit, with instructions, for the metal-to-metal gasket joints.

Why it matters

Built for trucks that work hard and sit between jobs. Coated bearings matter most on dry starts, which is where bottom ends get hurt.
More than a standard kit. Hack Nation's standard kits share the same core parts; the Elite Series adds the coated bearings, coated piston crowns and superfinished wrist pins.
Proven coating. In Hack Nation's 7,300-mile loaded-bulker test on Texas hills, its piston coating stayed on 100% while a competitor's came off completely.
